Welcome to Denver Contact Jam

Denver Contact Jam is a weekly gathering for anyone curious about or practicing Contact Improvisation, a movement form rooted in shared weight, listening, and spontaneous physical dialogue.

We are a community-led space, which means the people who show up are the ones who shape what this jam becomes. There is no single teacher or director. Instead, a rotating group of space holders facilitates each session, holds the room, and tends to the community that makes it possible.

The jam runs weekly and is open to all experience levels. Whether you are new to contact or have been practicing for years, you are welcome here.

Why is there a separate site when there is already denvercontactimprov.com?

Denver Contact Jam has its own identity, distinct from individual teacher platforms or studio offerings. This site exists to give the jam a clear, community-centered home that reflects the people who collectively support and sustain it.
